PAINTING

Experimenting with expressive and aesthetic exploration in itself, he delves into drawing and painting. He paints in oil, acrylic, watercolor, and even mixed techniques, on canvas, paper, wood…

In his drawings, he works both in black and white using watercolor pencils, pens, markers, etc.

His style can be framed within surrealism, with contributions from various sources, and with clear influences from Salvador Dalí, Xul Solar, Remedios Varo, Benjamín Solari Parravicini, Eduardo Naranjo, Leonora Carrington, Bridget Bate Tichenor, Vincent Van Gogh, Frida Kahlo and others in the visual realm, as well as writers like Jorge Luis Borges, Carlos Castaneda, Julio Cortázar, Horacio Quiroga, Edgar Allan Poe, among others, in terms of themes.

OIL

The main technique traditionally associated with painting is oil. Historically, the great masters have used this medium to create their works.

ACRYLIC

A more modern and versatile medium is acrylic paint, which allows for techniques from both oil and watercolor painting, as well as its own unique methods.

ACUARELA

Another common painting technique is watercolor. Thanks to my teacher Antonio Ruiz López, I began exploring this style.

Although it is mainly focused on landscapes, in some works a surrealist vein can also be seen.

DRAWING

In his drawings, he expresses himself both in black and white using watercolor pencils, pens, markers, etc.

As a draftsman, he belongs to surrealism, with a personal style full of imagination, although he also creates hyperrealistic portraits with black pencils.

Another common technique is pen drawing, which he practices occasionally.

BLACK AND WHITE

He mainly draws surrealism, using graphite as well as pens and markers.

Occasionally, he creates hyperrealistic portraits with pencil.

WATERCOLOR PENCILS

As a draftsman, he belongs to surrealism, with a personal style full of imagination.

He also often uses these drawings as sketches for paintings, as he has done on previous occasions.
