Brief professional resume



Sebastián Griz is an Argentine artist residing in Barcelona. As a composer and arranger, he focuses on ethnodelia (a style that emphasizes fusion, combining psychedelia, rock and folklore from different regions).

He has toured and performed concerts in different cities in Catalonia, Spain, Argentina, England, Austria, Morocco, Italy and Portugal, presenting his own compositions. He has participated as a performer, author, composer, artistic and executive producer, musical director, arranger and sound technician in recordings and shows by various artists.

He was one of the creators and producers of the Festival de la Diversidad Musical Under - FeDMUn (Underground Scene Diversity Fest). He has also organized for 3 years the first stable ethnic and experimental jam in Barcelona (the “ethnodelic jam”), both with the group Mariposa Lunar, and as a solo artist.

Other activities include being a regular contributor to the literary and cultural magazine Beatrizos since 2000, in addition to occasionally participating in other print and Internet media, creating music moods for spiritual retreats in the Sahara, recording soundtracks for short films (becoming a finalist in the Barcelona Visual Sound), recording music for theatre café, present multimedia exhibitions with his drawings, poetry and music, do artistic and executive production on his own and other people's albums, participate as a sound technician and/or session musician, present exhibitions of his paintings, produce artistic events both in Barcelona and Buenos Aires, run workshops on various topics related to music in Spain, Austria and Argentina, and participate in various entities in order to promote culture and art.
